Hailing from the Quebec city region in QC, Canada, this new project is taking the local scene by storm... and then some. Project leader Doom is busy putting together a solid line up for a bunch of up coming shows around the province, which are expected to be something not to be missed. The album, The Unholy, originally released as a 50 copies hand numbered CDR, is being re-pressed and officially released by PRC MUSIC (Talamyus, Beyond Creation, Negativa, Salwart) on december 4th, on CD and in digital.

Here is what label owner Remi Cote had to say about PRC's new gem:

"I have been looking for something similar for a few months, something similar to the good old sound of MERCYFUL FATE and VENOM... Since we are not working with alot of projects, we are always looking for quality first... I tought I would never find something good enough for my personal taste... and then came this completely unknown project... it just blew me away".

Altough deeply rooted in the 80's, DOOM'S DAY still sounds refreishing enough to compete with the best artists of a similar vision on an internatioal level. DOOM'S DAY is strongly recommended to fans of VENOM, GHOST, MERCYFUL FATE, THE MISFITS (old), HEAVEN AND HELL...

Here is what Doom (Main composer and Vocalist) have to say about the project:

" Doom’s Day is a trip back to the roots, when metal music was Satan himself and punk music had a true meaning of rebellion. Influenced by legendary bands such as The Misfits, Venom, Brocas Helm, Black Sabbath and Mercyful Fate, the band began its journey in the evilest way. Sacrifices, orgies and other rituals are what matter, but with thoughts on modern society’s wickedness, addictions and other insanities… Doom’s Day is truly a tribute to a dark music genre mostly forgotten and also a big fuck you to all those trendy whores of the music scene…"
